Is It Possible To Register For Too Many Items Wedding

Can you register for likewise many things?

My wedding is a ways away still, but I wanted to get the registering out of the mode. Cheers to girls and guys on here who fabricated me realize I only need two registries. Both FH and I live with our parents, so we legit have nothing for our hereafter flat... My sister plans to invite virtually 55 to the shower and nosotros are inviting about 175 to 185 to the actual hymeneals... We registered for so many things nigh 130 things at BBB and 75 things at C&B and are yet changing things. Is that too much? We take really good price ranges though.. I'grand merely super excited about everything I saw and have already deleted some non-essentials.. Just, man, I feel like it's a lot to ask for... I mean I know I volition virtually likely have to fulfill some of the stuff on our own after the wedding... How much did y'all guys annals for? Is this normal?? C&B fabricated me feel like I need to annals for a ton more stuff...

I am not actually sure how much is as well much. However, I would go back to update your registry as yous go closer to your shower considering some items may get discontinued.

BeachDreams, that makes sense. I tried to register at C&B with things that have been a while and are not seasonal, only I will go on to check information technology.

Chelsie, that makes sense.. I hope my guests see it that way!

Every bit long as you have various price ranges on your registry, which you said you do, I think y'all'll be all set! Nearly people will realize and understand you'll both be starting on your own for the offset time and will need everything.

I think that sounds like a fine amount! I have most 300 items on my BB&B registry. That is generally because I went with the open stock dishware, so literally threescore of those items are plates and bowls. You can always add together more every bit PPs take said. I think guests like to accept plenty of options!

After years of working retail, I can't tell you how upset people get when shopping for someone's registry and there is 3 things on there considering there isn't a pick, or everything is online only. Variety is the spice of life!

Okay, you lot guys are making me feel better! I remember most of my registry is between $2 and $100, and then a few super expensive items.

Nope! The rule is 2 gifts per invitee. And then technically you should have about 370 to 375 gifts on your registry. Hope this helps!

If any matter that is not enough choices. I tried to picked 2 items per family invited and so anyone who wanted to buy a gift had options.

55 at a shower is huge however. This should be the women who are closest to you - 55 is too many imo

@Erin, I run across your point with the shower, but a huge chunk of these women are all women that I have grown up and are basically considered to be more of family rather than friends... Although, I'm sure I can cutting down the listing a little more, but I'chiliad sure my mom and sister will end up inviting who they desire from the hymeneals list.

I don't think that'southward remotely close to existence "likewise much stuff". Keep in heed you also don't have to finalize the registry at any fourth dimension. Go back after your shower and as your wedding gets closer and decide if y'all need to add more items based on how many were purchased afterwards the shower.

No. It'southward very considerate, actually. This gives everyone something within their price bespeak, so that the last-minute buyers will still accept something to cull.

Don't expect to get it all, simply the more y'all have, the kinder toward your guests. (I'm the bitch who didn't annals at all- and I'm starting to feel guilty)

Echoing what pp take said that it'south non too much. Also, most places give you a registry completion discount so even if no ane gets it, if it's something you need, yous tin get a disbelieve to buy it yourself later on. We put a Roomba on ours knowing the simply style we'd get information technology is maybe as a grouping gift (non likely)...nosotros don't care, because we programme to save ten% and use our souvenir cards to purchase it ourselves after the nuptials.

Be careful that the items you register for aren't considered seasonal. My sister'southward list got a whole lot smaller, considering she didn't realize that a lot of her items were going to be unavailable. (She registered almost half-dozen months earlier her wedding.) simply keep an eye on it and beef it up if necessary.

I think it's improve to have too many items than also few. It's actually frustrating if a couple doesn't register for plenty and not take a lot of options when you get to purchase your gift for them.

I'll second checking before your shower invites go out that zippo has been discontinued on both registries. I can't tell you how many not seasonal items have been discontinued on our C&B registry already.

You lot can as well go back after your shower and add to your registry if you receive more gifts than you expected. You should as well recheck your registry when your hymeneals invites become out to make sure you've replaced newly discontinued items.

Annals for everything! A lot of stores volition give you lot a percent off of whatever hasn't been bought after the wedding.
